TOP OF THE PALMS - Fabulous views from this 2 bedroom 2 bath condo.  You are staying right on the Gulf of Mexico with front row views from the third floor.   This condo was completely remodeled in 2019 providing a comfortable setting for your relaxing Texas beach vacation.

THE RESORT -Top of the Palms is located on the west end of Seawall Blvd. across from the beach in the highly popular Maravilla Condos.  This quiet complex is known for the beautiful tropical grounds featuring 3 pools, a hot tub and exercise room with a beach view.  There is a very large resort pool with an island in the middle, a smaller lagoon pool with a beach entry and across the drive is a medium size pool heated in the winter.  There are also charcoal grills by all the pools.  Between the resort and lagoon pool is a nice gazebo accessible to all guests to enjoy some shade as you eat or drink at the bar with bar stools.  You will have easy access to your choice of activities.

This condo is located close to EVERYTHING fun in Galveston. Just step across Seawall Blvd is the ocean & wide beaches are about a mile in either direction. Moody Gardens is just behind us within a short drive. Within walking distance is Jimmy's on the Pier for dining (upstairs...over the ocean & recommended) or fishing. You can also walk to the Go Cart tracks and the movie theater and Miniature Golf. There is a handy guide in the condo with all of our favorite restaurants and things to do.  At the complex, there is ample covered parking for a $10 fee per car per day. You can pay the front office upon arrival or the next morning if arriving after hours.  

THE CONDO

The living area has beautiful hardwood floors, a comfortable leather sofa (with TWO recliners) and two club chairs. The wall-mounted 50” smart tv is located just above the bar and is ready for your viewing preferences. DirecTV is provided, or guests can login to their personal Netflix account for their favorite movie options.

The kitchen offers stylish stainless appliances, an oversized stainless sink, a dishwasher, stove, built-in microwave, granite counters and an elegant tile backsplash. Accented by custom cabinets, drawer storage, and plenty of counter space, cooks of all levels will enjoy the Gulf view while preparing their favorite meals!

The private double-sized balcony is the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine while overlooking the Seawall and the Gulf of Mexico. Or, enjoy your early morning cup of coffee as the sun rises over the glistening water. You'll be inspired to plan your day at the beach, a kayak tour, or to simply hang out by one of the three pools located at the Maravilla. The balcony is accessible from both the living room and the master bedroom and provides seating for four, a table, and a pair of side tables.  

See the beautiful ocean from the comfy king bed in the master.  Take some time out for a good book and a long overdue nap! Also in the master is a dresser, two arm chairs, a large closet and a 42” flat screen tv and DVD player. The en-Suite bathroom features a large beautifully tiled walk-in shower w/shower seat, and an adjustable shower head.

The second bedroom offers a queen bed, a dresser, a 19” TV, DVD player and nice sized closet.

The bunk bed alcove is located close to both bedrooms in the entry hall.  This twin over twin bunk is ideal for the kiddos & average sized adults as well.

The guest bathroom has a tiled tub/shower combination, large vanity area with granite counter, a large mirror and plenty of light.

***Please note, Top of the Palms is on the third floor. Although the elevator is very close to the condo, there are an additional four stairs leading up to the front door of the unit.***

The condo provides complimentary Wi-Fi and DirecTV.

At the complex, there is ample non-reserved covered and uncovered parking.   You can pay the front office upon arrival or the next morning if arriving after hours.  A parking fee must be paid to Maravilla office upon arrival.  The office does not accept cash. Parking Rules and prices beginning June 1, 2021 are as follows: 
1) Parking Rates will be set at $10.00 per car per day PLUS Sales tax
2) Trailers (Motorcycle) will be charged the same rate as cars and are limited to special event weekends such as Biker Rally Weekend. No other time are trailers of any sort allowed to be parked at Maravilla.
3) Per day rates will be capped after $70.00 per 30 day time period, and the per day rate will start over again on the 31st day.

For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

There is a balcony with a pub set by the front door which has a nice view of the ocean and the lake towards to rear of the complex.
Please keep in mind that this is a family resort. All guests are welcome. The management enforces quiet and appropriate behavior for everyone's safety and enjoyment.Property management and security is on site. Loud and/or lewd behavior is not be tolerated. Please be considerate of the other guests at the resort. Smoking is not allowed inside the condo. There is a $200 additional cleaning fee for smoking inside the condo.
